After check-in join us for afternoon tea with a selection of cake including that rich local speciality: Wiltshire Lardy Cake then join us this evening for a glass or two of Dale’s hot rum punch before our Gala 5 course Hot and Cold buffet. After dinner there will be dancing to Chris and his “AM Road show” Disco, this will be “interrupted” at midnight with a Champagne Toast as we all celebrate with “Auld Lang Syne” and the BBC with Big Ben’s chimes to herald in the New Year.
New Years Day
Join us for a leisurely and full English Breakfast/Brunch with Bucks fizz or even neat Champers for those of us who need revival or just a reason to start the new day of a new year. It’s now time to bid farewell and departure.
SEATING ARRANGEMENTS FOR THE NEW YEAR BREAK
In order to capture a warm and friendly atmosphere for the New Year break. Dining will be on circular tables of 8-10, enabling you to meet and make new friends. However, if you wish to arrange separate seating for your party or group, please let us know.
Rates are 115.50 per person and based on a minimum of two persons sharing a standard room.
Single Supplement: The rate for single occupancy will be £15.50 per person per night

Children’s Tariff: Children Under 5 (sharing parents room) FOC
Children 6-14 (sharing parents room) – 50% of the adult price

Additional Nights
Stay a little longer on our special rate of dinner, bed and breakfast rate of £69.00 per person per night. The additional nights include: Accommodation, 3 course Dinner, full English breakfast, service and V.A.T. Valid from: 17th -23rd, 27th – 29th December and 1st – 4th January 2014.
Deposit:
A non-refundable deposit of £20.00 per person is required for all bookings
Payment:
All payments must be paid in full by 7th December 2013, at which time all full payments are non-refundable. The hotel reserves the right to automatically release any provisional bookings if deposits or full balances are not received within the stated time. When booking after 9th December 2013 full payment is required.
General information:
Prices quoted are per person and are based on a minimum of two adults sharing a standard double/twin.

Christmas Eve
Arrive during the afternoon, relax and join us for a traditional Wiltshire cream tea by our open fires in the lounge. Then join us in the lounge to meet Dale and his team for a Cocktail & Nibbles reception before a Spit Roast four-course candlelit dinner. During dinner there will be music & carols from our local Salvation Army Brass Band. After dinner the Salisbury “Mummers” will perform their own brand of festive entertainment of Christmas Tales. Traditional Midnight Mass at Salisbury Cathedral is not to be missed, or you may prefer our local Parish Church in Harnham which is next door to the hotel. On your return enjoy a warming glass or two of hot toddy with warm mince pies before retiring.
Christmas Day
Start this magical day opening your presents and a leisurely full English breakfast. Spend the rest of the morning at your leisure or, perhaps a stroll around the Cathedral. Join us in the lounge for Dales traditional hot Rum Punch before our six-course Christmas Day luncheon. A relaxing afternoon watching the Queens speech, then join us for afternoon tea and Christmas cake, there is a prize for the guest who can guess the weight of the Christmas Cake. Join us this evening for a splendid hot and cold informal fork buffet, after indulging dinner, join us to test your luck with our traditional Christmas quiz with prizes for the lucky winners.
Boxing Day
After the excitement of Christmas Day enjoy a full English breakfast and a leisurely morning. We have arranged a walking tour around the City of Salisbury for those of us who feel energetic, alternatively ask at reception for one of our suggested walks through the water meadows taking in the views that inspired Constable’s famous paintings. Return for a glass of sherry before a traditional Boxing Day luncheon featuring our chef’s seasonal Game dishes. This afternoon is free for you to explore the countryside or visit the Boxing Day Sales in the city centre. Join us this evening for a welcome reception with a glass of “Kir” and a Gala themed Dinner featuring, by popular request, French cuisine and music accompanied by table magic from our resident magician during and after dinner.

Christmas Market Shopping Break
This year is the first ever for Salisbury, a Christmas market to remember. This 18-day event commences on the 29th November and will be located in front of the city's magnificent Guildhall and include our historic market square. The market will comprise 55 charming wooden chalets, beautifully decorated in festive reds and greens along with lighting to enhance the festive atmosphere. The chalets will be filled with quality gifts and products featuring a high proportion of British made goods. Local businesses, like Reeves our famous local bakery, will be represented including food and drink featuring seasonal products from home and abroad, others with German Bratwurst and Gluhwein, French saucisson and specialities, Belgian chocolates, eccentric Cheshire cheese, New forest chocolates and venison burgers.
Festive entertainment will be provided by local community groups, choirs and schools providing music and carol singing. The atmosphere will be further enhanced with a spectacular "Forest of Christmas trees" lit with pea lights. There will be a special Father Christmas "grotto" at Fisherton Mill for the children.
